A Pleasant Visit at the Museum

　The President of the Republic of Palau, Tommy E. Remengesau, paid a five-day visit to Taiwan. On January 19th, he visited Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Art. During the museum tour on the current exhibition- the "Artistic Development and Social Transition in Taiwan II: Formosa Mambo", President Remengesau was drawn by an oil painting "The Cosmos II" by the local artistic Shui-cai Chen.

帛琉總統參訪高雄

　　帛琉總統來台參訪5日，1月19日參觀高雄市立美術館《台灣美術與社會脈動2: 寶島曼波》展，對展覽中許多富含台灣特色的人事物相當感興趣。圖中高美館導覽對帛琉總統導覽高雄在地藝術家陳水財的作品「八荒之二」，解釋台灣過去中學生的小平頭及制服形象。
