Kaohsiung's Delectable Italian Cuisine

　Kaohsiung City boasts a rich variety of cultural cuisines. Italian cuisine happens to be one of the more popular cuisines in Southern Taiwan and features delicious tomatoes, cheese, spices and olive oil. Mamamia and Pasadena Italian House are some of Kaohsiung's most popular Italian restaurants. Their authentic Italian dishes come highly recommended.

Mamamia

　Mamamia is lcated at the corner of Longde and Shennong Road (close to the Nong 16 Area). The building resembles a castle and was recently renovated. Mamamia has an upbeat atmosphere and the ambiance of a European countryside eatery. Enter the second floor through a heavy wooden door and find solid wooden dining tables and chairs, an elegant chandelier and gray stony walls as a backdrop. This creates a spacious and cozy dining area.

　Mamamia's menu offers classic Italian gourmet. It features a variety of pastas, rice gratins, pizzas, seafood, salads and a variety of other dishes. So no mater where you come from, we are sure you will find Mamamia's dishes delectable to the palate.

Pasadena Italian House

　Pasadena started out as a successful French restaurant. Recently its business has expanded with a newly opened restaurant named Italian House. Unlike its high end, French counterpart, Pasadena Italian House's Dishes are reasonably priced. The restaurant is a great place for sharing a meal and relaxation time with friends　The Italian House is located Near the Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts. Its wooden exterior emulates a more casual atmosphere. Inside the restaurant, tiles are central to the decor, wood tables and flannel wood chairs reveal a unique and European style. The interior dining area Features a high wooden ceiling. The exterior dining Area is solarium full of greenery and a great place to relax and bask in the afternoon sun.

 

　While you enjoy these fabulous traditional Italian dishes, the restaurant provides musical entertainment such as Italian Jazz or contemporary ballads. One of the most highly recommended appetizers is the Italian sampler. This delicious starter includes tomatoes dotted with mozzarella cheese, Parma ham with honeydew melons, dried beef with raisins and creamy sauce and Italian sausages. Delicious!

　　高雄市的飲食文化大放異彩，眾多異國料理當中，以番茄、起司、香料和橄欖油扮演烹飪要角的義大利料理，廣受消費者喜愛，今天介紹的瑪瑪米亞和帕莎蒂娜義大利屋這兩家義大利餐廳，可說是箇中翹楚，專業道地的義式風味，值得您細細品味。

瑪瑪米亞

　　高雄市農十六新都心(龍德路和神農路口)附近，座落一棟城堡造型餐廳，那就是「老店新開」的瑪瑪米亞，餐廳呈現歐式鄉村的歡樂氛圍，拾階登上2樓，推開實木大門，灰泥色石岩板砌成的牆面，厚實的木質桌椅，古典氣質的大型吊燈，寬敞又帶有異國風情的設計，營造出舒適的用餐環境；至於餐飲方面，瑪瑪米亞也不遑多讓，義大利麵、燉飯、披薩、海鮮沙拉等經典義大利料理，應有盡有，來一趟瑪瑪米亞，感受味蕾的奇遇之旅。

帕莎蒂娜義大利屋

　　高雄市知名法式餐廳「帕莎蒂娜」，最近又多了一位生力軍─義大利屋！有別於法式餐廳的頂級價位和優雅情境，帕莎蒂娜義大利屋以中價位的義大利料理，營造分享而輕鬆的用餐氛圍。

　　座落於高雄市美術館園區的帕莎蒂娜義大利屋，全棟以棕色原木為主色調，洋溢休閒自然風，走進店內，環顧四周，牆壁上以磁磚為其裝飾元素、嵌上磁磚的木桌與質感絨布木椅，更流露出獨特、精緻又雅痞的歐式風格。

　　帕莎蒂娜義大利屋的用餐區，除了木製斜頂設計的挑高天花板，外面還有一處綠意盎然的玻璃屋，白天陽光輕灑，搭配店內輕鬆悅耳的義大利Jazz、現代民謠，享用最傳統道地的義大利料理，悠閒又自在。我特別喜歡這裡的義大利綜合冷盤，裡頭包括莫札瑞拉乳酪番茄、帕瑪火腿蜜瓜盤、風乾牛肉葡萄乾乳酪醬和義式香腸，不但色彩繽紛耀眼，味道也很不賴呢！
